Flexiv to Unveil Next-Generation Adaptive Robots at Automate 2026
SANTA CLARA, CA – JUNE 15, 2026 – Flexiv, a global leader in general-purpose robotics, today announced that the international launch of its two new robots, Enlight and MICO, will take place at the Automate 2026 exhibition.
The official unveiling is scheduled for the opening day of the expo at 3:00 p.m. at Flexiv Booth #2844. Representing a leap forward in general-purpose automation, the new robots bring unparalleled tactile sensitivity and physical artificial intelligence to the manufacturing landscape.
Heading the new lineup is Enlight, a seven-axis, force-controlled adaptive robotic arm that delivers a world-first, whole-body touch sensitivity via multi-dimensional force-torque sensors integrated into each of its seven degrees of freedom. Capable of single-touch recognition, multi-point tracking, and pattern recognition, Enlight achieves advanced tactile capabilities that rival those of a human.

With four axes capable of a full 720-degree rotation and a lightweight 15-kilogram body, Enlight delivers an extraordinary range of motion in constricted environments. Engineered to operate seamlessly in unstructured settings, the robot features advanced 'hand-eye' coordination that enables the automation of highly variable tasks that traditional robots cannot handle.
Utilizing the Enlight architecture, Flexiv is also introducing the MICO platform, a humanoid-style, modular, dual-arm robotic system designed for the era of embodied intelligence. By pairing two Enlight arms under a centralized processing architecture driven by a single control box, MICO enables organic, human-like dual-arm cooperation.

MICO features a highly flexible modular hardware architecture available in four standardized configurations, these being Armor, Core, Plus, and Ultra to provide unmatched plug-and-play scalability.

"The introduction of Enlight and MICO marks a defining moment not just for Flexiv, but for the automation industry," said Shuyun Chung, Flexiv’s Chief Robotics Scientist. "We have brought to market a level of human-like adaptability and tactile feedback never before available to industrial users. These robots are safer, simpler to program, and uniquely capable of operating in highly constricted environments."
Alongside the live unveiling, visitors to Booth #2844 can experience cutting-edge demonstrations developed in collaboration with Generalist AI, Industrial Next, and Saint-Gobain. As an NVIDIA ecosystem partner, Flexiv will also showcase precise graphics card manipulation and insertion, leveraging the NVIDIA Isaac Sim open framework for simulating force-controlled tasks.
Journalists, industry experts, and attendees are invited to gather at Booth #2844 at 3:00 p.m. on day one of the expo to witness the live debut of Enlight and MICO.
